Leanne & William Sneak Peek

Leanne and William chose to get married in the historic Yester Parish Church in Gifford. It was our first visit to the village, and the locals and tourists alike were very friendly and welcoming. The bridal party arrived in three cars, which drew a lot of attention before and during the service. The theme of the wedding was unusual, being styled as gothic, with Leanne wearing a white dress with black embroidery, and the bridesmaids in long red dresses. William and his groomsmen wore kilts with black ghillie shirts to complete the look.

After the group photo and family photographs in the church grounds, we all headed over to The Stair Arms Hotel in Pathhead, which we know very well. The guests enjoyed nibbles and drinks in the hotel garden, taking advantage of the day's sunshine.

The Stair Arms then served a delicious 3-course meal in their wedding function room, which had been decorated in a black and red theme, including hand-made decorations and the wedding cake made by family and friends. After the meal we took Leanne and William back to the hotel garden for some additional portrait photography.

In the evening, the room became packed-out with evening guests ready to party. Entertainment was provided by the 4-piece band, Milestone.

We would like to that Leanne and William and their families for making us so welcome at their wedding, and to wish the happy couple all the best for their many years ahead together.
