Jeanine & David Sneak Peek

We had a return visit to The Busby Hotel in Clarkston for the wedding of Jeanine & David on Saturday. Jeanine and David were both full of life on the day, and their whole family of almost 100 guests was ready to celebrate their wedding in their unique, fun style. The family could not have been more welcoming to us. The hotel Event Manager, Rebecca, and receptionist, Ruth were also extremely well organised and helpful to us for the details of the event. The Busby Hotel had been refurbished since we were last there, with both the Busby Suite and the Honeymoon Suite looking stunning.

Jeanine and her bridesmaids looked very glamorous thanks to her hair stylist and make-up artist, and David with his best men, grooms woman and ushers were all dressed very smartly in traditional outfits.

The ceremony started with surprise visits from the "party boys" (ushers), not to mention the 2 dogs in attendance with Duncan delivering the rings. The Humanist Celebrant telling us the tale of how Jeanine and David had met and fell in love. A harpist played during the ceremony and piper Iain Melvin lead Jeanine and David out of the ceremony room afterwards.

For the rest of the day their friends and family celebrated with much humour and joyfulness and we made use of the hotel's garden features for photographs in the afternoon and evening. The wedding breakfast of roast chicken or steak pie was delicious.

In the evening more friends arrived to join in the celebrations and the resident DJ filled the dancefloor with his wide-ranging music styles, just as Jeanine & David had requested.

We had a amazing time sharing their wedding and would like to thank Jeanine, David, all of their family and The Busby Hotel for all of their cooperation on the day in assisting us with photographing this wonderful wedding. Here is a sneak peek of photographs from the day for you to enjoy.
