Fiona & Jamie's Wedding Sneak Peek
We had the pleasure of photographing Fiona & Jamie's wedding, which was held at the Cheval The Edinburgh Grand in St Andrew's Square, Edinburgh. This was our first time photographing this wonderful venue, and were very pleased at how well the wedding was organised and run by the managers and staff.
The guests first gathered in the Register Club for drinks before the ceremony. The ceremony itself took place on the 4th floor in the finely decorated Games Room. When Fiona entered the room, Jamie was very emotional. The celebrant Fiona from Independent Humanist Ceremonies then asked both Fiona and Jamie's parents to gather round at the front, so that they could all have a group hug. Later in the ceremony, Fiona and Jamie shared a quaich, each taking a drink of Glenmorangie. The celebrant then told stories of the couple including spilling a few secrets.
After the ceremony and a first celebratory drink for the guests, we then took advantage of the amazingly decorated Atrium space, for the all-guest group shot and the family formals. Then we moved on to photographing Fiona and Jamie in different areas around the hotel before going outside to St Andrew's Square gardens, where we enjoyed the beatiful surroundings and took a wee visit to see Paddington Bear. We then left the happy couple to enjoy the rest of their wedding day with their guests.
